Doster Insert. I have not had time to retype the link herein, so I am placing it in pdf format. You will be able to easily print this information. However, "searching" the internet will not be as easy until I get it printed in html format. This is very hard work and provided by Mr. Harold Davis. The paperwork was done in the 1940s. Harold is now setting out to work on the descendants of Obediah Doster. Obediah is Sarah Adeline Doster's grandfather. Harold: Keep the great information coming!

On 1 March 2008, Paula Raulston Duchesne, borrowed from her sister's (Sandra Raulston Galley) scrapbook some awesome pictures and the following letter from Nannie Bess Yarbrough's sister, Vista. The letter was written in December 1993 to Aunt Sue (Cora Sue Raulston Boone). Also, Sue went through the pictures. It turns out that MANY of them are actually Raulston pics. I moved them to a new tab - "Raulston Pictures" for you to browse.

"Thursday, am. Dear Sue: Am sending you this thing that Wilda sent me. You can make some copies for your family. I haven't seen Judy yet but am pretty sure she can fix some. Mary's brother from California was coming to her house yesterday, so guess he will be there through the winter. They say it's going to be real cold tomorrow and maybe snow. So I will run and try to get a few things done. Tell everyone hello and have a Happy Christmas. Love, Vista" [Return address was 111 Pine Street, Bonham, Texas]
[Disclaimer: Some of the information in the below is outdated, just like the book. Examples: Sadly, several deaths. Sue lives back on the "home place" in her rebuilt brick home, Both CM and Dorothy have passed away, along with Herbert Wayne, Mary Evelyn, and Kent (Kenneth), etc.]

William Joseph Yarbrough - Nannie Bess Yarbrough's father.
Nannie Bess, the oldest child, was born in 1897 near Windom. She married Clarence Raulston of Clarksville, Texas on April 7, 1915. They lived on the farm north of Clarksville most of their life. They had four sons and two daughters. The oldest daughter, Katie [Katy], died when she was 10 years old.

Nannie
Bess is on the far right with her two younger sisters on her left.
C.M. [Clarence Melvin Raulston, Jr.] the first son, and wife, Dorothy bought the farm. They built a brick home and still live there. They have an adopted daughter. Their place had been in the Raulston name for more than 100 years. Their home was hit by a tornado in April of 1991 and was damaged a lot, but they have it repaired now. The tornado destroyed a big oak tree that was more than 100 years old.
Garland and wife, Mary Evelyn, live in New Boston, Texas. They have two girls and one boy. They all live in that area. They have several grandchildren. He worked at the Lone Star plant until his retirement.
Herbert and wife, Derrelline live in Arlington, Texas near Dallas. They have two daughters and several grandchildren. They all live in that area. Hub has had health problems for several years.
Kenneth [Kent], the youngest son, and wife, Christine, live in Clarksville since retirement from Sears in Garland. They have no children. They have an adopted or foster son, Larry. They bought an older rock house and have restored it.
Sue Boone, the youngest of the family, lives in Clarksville since the tornado destroyed her home north of town. The same tornado damaged C.M.'s house. Until then, she lived on a part of the old home place. She has an adopted son, Mike. She and husband, James, have been divorced for several years.
*end of Clarence Raulston info*

Ronald, the youngest son, lives in Houston part time and on his ranch down in El Campo close to San Antonio. He and Joann also had three daughters and several grandchildren. Think they are all girls.

June 8, 2008 - Hi! I'm Laquita Hewitt and the daughter of C.E. Yarbrough. I knew and had visited some of these people. We had gone to H.N. and Mary Yarbrough's house when I was a little girl and they had a pet monkey. I had also visited Fannie and Henry. At that time they were still living in their house and cleaning the church. They took us to the United Methodist Church and told us that my grandfather, Rufus Kato, had been the song leader there and they also showed us the seat he always had sat in. They were very nice.
